In this life, we'll never achieve perfection. God created us as perfectly flawed beings and we'll never be completely sinless as long as we live on this earth. This is not to say we can behave however we want as God requires us to obey Him as best as we can. If it were eeffortless, there would no meaning or value attached to being a Christian. Doing our best to obey is also our way of showing God how much we love Him. So don't take this message as permission to be as sinful as you please, but to do our best not to sin and not to be too hard on ourselves when we fail to be perfect. On the same token, being mediocre or a 'lukewarm' Christian is not an option.
