Futuristic virtual fitting rooms promise to take the hassle out of trying on clothes.

3D body scanning has been around for many years; however, fashion consumers (and brands!) have been slow to adopt the new technology. The intrusive nature of 3D scanning can be blamed for this, in addition to the fact that finding out the exact body measurements does not necessarily translate into finding the perfect fit.

Me-Ality claims to have found the solution for that!  Me-Ality is a body scanning kiosk currently located in 37 malls across the US that uses a patented technology to determine customers’ measurements. It then recommends clothes that would fit the customer’s body shape the best and directs them to the stores that carry the items.
