Donna Hay - Food Master

When you think of Australia, food may not be the first thing that comes to your mind (Koalas and kangaroos tend to be at the top of the list and let’s face it they’re adorable! So it’s understandable) but one plucky Aussie is showing that the outback has way more than just steak to offer.

Donna Hay started cooking when she was 8 and has never looked back. At 19 she became a food writer and stylist, and by the age of 25 she was the food editor for marie claire. Today, Donna is the author of 18 award-winning cookbooks and editor of her self-titled top-selling food magazine that has captured the hearts and stomachs of people around the world.

Donna’s cooking philosophy is that she wants everyone to be able to cook a delicious meal using the everyday ingredients that you would typically find in your kitchen. Following the success of her TV show, Fast, Fresh, Simple Donna put out a cookbook with the same title. Fast, Fresh, Simple (the cookbook) compiles all of the recipes from Donna’s show and provides tricks of the trade (aka shortcuts) so that you can make delicious fast, fresh and simple meals.
