And to actually answer your question, because police fucks kill innocent people on a regular basis and get away with it. In Ferguson, right this minute, they are denying American citizens their basic human rights as well as constitutional rights and are facing zero consequences for it. You should really care. Everyone should care, no matter where they are from. This really has nothing to do with location.
