Some late night film studies from the movie, “The World’s End.” These are from the scene when Gary goes to recruit his friend Andy to join him on the “Golden Mile,” which is basically a pub run. Andy has not drank in sixteen years, and Gary tries to coax Andy to come, despite the fact that Andy had a rather bad experience the first time Gary had attempted the Golden Mile back in highschool. I like how the shots progress from Gary being in silhouette to very in Andy’s and the audience’s face, which helps to add to the pressure that Andy is trying to avoid. Gotta keep doing these to study off of since my compositions and staging need A LOT of work.
