Trials and Tribulations

So today was the most “Oh, I’ve got TBI” days I have ever experienced. First off, I Went to bed early last night, around 10 to be ready for my 7 am day at work and 8 am clinic at Nike Portland. That was a fail, I woke up at 7:45am and began to rush to get ready. I was going to be fine though because we were meeting in a different location. Traffic made me about 25 minutes late. That was fine! I was looking forward to the rest of the day. After the meeting I had to find my car, I completely forgot where I parked it. I called my friend, Jim to come and grab me and take me back to work, “we can search later” I thought. Got to work after being a few minutes late, that was okay. Then after hearing about my car, management immediately said “get out of here! Go find you car!” So then I was picked up Jim again and we headed down to search. We grabbed lunch and inthe restaurant was complimented as having the most beautiful smile by an elderly lady. After lunch we searched for another 45 minutes or so, then we were so desperate to find a spot we could complimentary pee at, Target did us a solid. We searched for a little bit longer and got Jim his apartment keys until we called it a day. I’m taking this day as a reminder that I’m still not as good at remembering things as I used to be but I am still me. I was getting frustrated but then again I looked down at my wrist and read the wristbands I had on. 1. Lovelife. 2. Never stop Living the dream. 3. Don’t worry, be happy. I smiled and thought about everything that has happened in the past few hours and smiled. I’m lucky to be experiencing this. This is life.
