For this week, I made a commitment to carve out time out of my everyday life cluttered with earthly preoccupations to just personally meet with God. Just Him and me.
Today, that happened to be in the form of reading the first chapter of this book which is basically about God’s great desire to be with us… Did you know that the most frequent promise in the Bible is “I will be with you”? It’s still a little too hard for me to grasp how and why God would want to be with me all the time, especially when He’s supposed to hold the entire world and all that He created in His hands. But I guess that suggests how small my view of Him is, and clearly that HAS to change! (Taken with Instagram)
