Question: What Can You Do When You Crave Sweets
This Question was posted to the German new media team and I thought it was a good QA to share on the blog.
QUESTION (by Claudia):
“What can you do when you’re cravings sweets?”
ANSWER (from the German team)
Contact your coach and support team. They can help clarify things for you such as what you are allowed to eat depending on which phase you are in and what fruits you can eat on your specific plan.
In addition to contacting your coach, you can:
- Drink water!
- Omit fruits from your diet except for Apples which are mandatory.
- Eat protein at the beginning and end of your meal.
- Chew on coffee beans.
- Bitter drops (Not sure if they have this in the US)
As pointed out by the German team, it is important to change the way you deal with your cravings and reach out for support from the metabolic balance community.
