A Inside Look at the metabolic balance program - Phase 1 and 2

Lifestyle changes can be challenging and a bit confusing so we have decided to share with you (over the next few weeks) some information about the metabolic balance program which should help you understand a little more about the four phases used by metabolic balance.
In today’s post, we’re looking at phase 1 and 2.
Whether you are a Flexitarian or eating a standard American diet, starting the metabolic balance program exposes your body to positive nutritional changes which requires a bit of preparation.
Phase 1 of the personalized nutrition plan primes your body for those nutritional changes by having participants eating light fare and following a cleansing routine.
Once you’ve completed phase 1, you will be entering into phase 2 which is the Strict Conversion Phase. This phase helps balance your metabolism by using a personalized meal plan and helps you get used to appropriate serving sizes and proper food selection.
This phase lasts for a minimum of two weeks or up to a weight loss of 44 pounds. Sylvia stresses that you must follow as many of the rules as possible while in phase 2 to achieve the best results. The rules are not optional but an integral part of the program helping participants along the path towards their weight loss and healthy living goals.
Although you will continue on to phase 3 and 4, you will be able to always fall back to phase 2 after taking a misstep or a planned break from the program. Phase 2 introduces you to the basic rules that you need to follow and is your individual template for healthy eating.
