This is a set of wooden butter knives that I designed. The box is made of hickory, and the knives are made of walnut. There is also a steel rest to keep the business end of the knife off the counter. Using a wooden knife for butter is a fantastic sensory experience. It's much lighter than a metal one, but its still stiff enough to be used as a butter knife. The light feeling in the hand makes for a delicate butter spreading experience.
