so i recently acquired a complete sims 3 (all expansions etc) and so I'm not sure which one brought this issue into the game, but uh. Do you know if there is a mod to remove or prevent my sims from spending 100% of their time looking out windows? I did a google search and I only got stuff for sims 2 not 3. wait so you can’t cancel the action? once they start you have no ability to cancel, as if they’re stuck?

if that’s the case then i would reset your sim.

i do know that “look out window” is an autonomous action, meaning the sims do it themselves and you cannot perform the action yourself (as far as i know). maybe go into the game settings and turn “free will” down or off? some people say that insane, neurotic, or loner sims do it more, but i don’t know if that’s true or not.

i couldnt find any mods on removing the interaction unfortunately. :\ maybe if i knew the specific interaction name? but i don’t know, it’s kind of specific.

how do you get the game to run so stable? I've done absoloutely everything, the dep, editing the .exe file, puting it in windows mode, every thing i could find to try to make my game more stable. I don't even fuck my sims up at all with nraas and I can barely edit just their outfits without the game crashing

do you have island paradise? i’ve heard a lot of people reporting random crashing with that expansion. 

also, i would recommend downloading the nraas overwatch mod. sometimes stuck vehicles can back up in the worlds and cause lagging and crashes.

ummm let’s see… have you checked to see if your graphics card is compatible? my last computer actually had a pretty good graphics card but just could not run the sims 3. i checked some sites and found out that my graphics card just didnt fuckin run the sims 3 even though it could run crysis at 40 fps.

have you deleted the cache files? maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling? trying to weed out problem CC?

to be honest, you seem to know a lot more than i do lol. i’m not even sure what the dep and editing the .exe file means. so i have no idea if any of that helped at all. :\
