Layton Lashes Out
In an e-mail to Marion County’s elected officials and top members of the public safety community, Sheriff John Layton accuses some of them of either playing politics with his office, or being too stupid to understand public safety.

Layton’s budget and staffing numbers have been the subject of much discussion at the Council, particularly that there are more staff on the department now than there were prior to the merger with IMPD.
