NYC MUST DO: A SWEET TREAT IN GRAMERCY

Today, August 16th, try something new, fun and sweet! Come beat the heat with Martha from the Bedford Cheese Shop and learn how to make a variety of frozen dairy desserts!

Martha is always thinking outside the box when it comes to desserts and flavors that you never even heard of, so prepare to be amazed based on what our local expert agents in the area tell us. After the class is over make sure to check out the massive 15-foot cheese case that the Gramercy location has to offer. Try some samples and take some home!

While you are in the adorable Gramercy area, check out the local restaurants, shops and nightlife.

Fun Fact: Ice cream was introduced to the United States by Quaker colonists who brought their ice cream recipes with them. Confectioners sold ice cream at their shops in New York and other cities during the colonial era. Ben Franklin, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson were known to have regularly eaten and even served ice cream.

Buy your tickets online for $40 to make sure and reserve a spot! The class starts at 1:00 pm, so be sure to get there on time so you don’t miss out.
