Felt like I was getting sick…

With all this nasty weather from Hurricanes to Snowstorms my body was not having it! My throat started to feel funny and I don’t know about you but that’s how it all starts for me. 

About THREE YEARS AGO! I stopped taking over the counter medicines for certain illnesses. One day I went in the kitchen and it was almost like I had an epiphany, I watch food network very often and my health was something that is very important to me. I was coming down with a cold and I didn’t want to take any cold medicines because for some reason they always made me way more drowsy and sickly than I already was. Then I thought…..WWGD? 

What Would Grandma Do? … My great grandmother is basian(BARBADOS) and when she was alive she would always tell my mom different ways to cure our illnesses. I rarely went to the emergency room for any sickness.

But anywhoo, I found some raw garlic, lemon juice, cayenne pepper powder and raw ginger. I decided to boil them all together with honey. Everybody in my house thought I was going crazy, I mean I knew it didn’t smell or sound too tasty but one thing I knew from drinking BUCKLEY’S was that all the stuff that TASTE THE WORSE, WORK THE BEST.

Over the years I’ve come up with more ’concoctions’ than this and I have also altered this one.

I now add:

RAW THYME (Benefits) : -  Vitamin C helps body develop resistance against infectious agents

These added ingredients has definitely helped me feel even more amazing the next day!

I still use all the same ingredients as when I FIRST STARTED but now I make sure nothing is concentrated or processed and EVERYTHING IS RAW and FRESH!!
