Google launched its Google Drive earlier today with a markedly different pricing plan compared to the company’s previous storage plans. There are qualifiers as to what counts and what doesn’t in terms of storage consumption so that will go into a longer post on DailySocial. For now, here’s a direct price comparison between some of the major cloud storage services, namely Apple, Dropbox, Microsoft and Google.
Compared to the Google’s previous pricing plans, Google Drive is far more expensive. Purely from a cost point of view, Microsoft’s SkyDrive seems to be the best bang for the buck, but of course, cloud storage services offer more than just a place to store files.
