A respected legal expert, health care advocate, and business executive, Heidi Frey has played a key role in establishing several start-ups and nonprofits in and around Denver, Colorado. Most recently, Heidi Frey became President of Mighty Oak Medical, Inc., an incubator for spine technologies.

In this position, Heidi Frey imbues her work with 25 years of professional experience and a significant record of accomplishment, adding value to the firm through proven management techniques. Heidi Frey arrived at Mighty Oak Medical following a highly diverse career in law and health care. Graduating cum laude from Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Heidi Frey enrolled at the Georgetown University Law Center, where she earned her J.D. in 1986. From there, Heidi Frey spent several years as an Associate and, later, Partner at Hopkins & Sutter in Chicago, developing her legal expertise in matters of employment and health care.

Completing her career with Hopkins & Sutter at the firm’s Denver office, Heidi Frey subsequently embarked on a period of entrepreneurship. She served as founder and Chief Executive Officer of Crocodile Rock, a local children’s entertainment firm; as founder of the Patient Advocacy Coalition, an organization dedicated to patients’ rights; and as Chief Executive Officer of Surgical Concepts, LLC, a neuromonitoring service provider with a national list of surgeon clients. Along with her family, Heidi Frey resides in the greater Denver area.
