An experienced medical administrator, Aiman Kumha recently spent four years as the head of Imaging Services at Parkridge Health System. Under his direction, the system achieved accreditation for its ultrasound, MRI, and CT services. It also saw its Employee Satisfaction Survey scores jump 65 points to 95 percent. Similarly, Aiman Kumha proved instrumental in instituting PACS at the system’s two campuses.

As Director, Aiman Kumha oversaw operations at two sites, Parkridge East Hospital and Parkridge Medical Center. Both facilities are equipped with imaging departments that serve residents of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and neighboring areas.

Aiman Kumha joined Parkridge Health System after spending 16 years as the Regional Director of Radiology with Christus Schumpert Health System. From his base in Shreveport, Louisiana, he managed the radiology departments, biomedical engineering operations, a full-service breast imaging facility, and a catheterization laboratory housed in three medical centers in northern Louisiana. His responsibilities included developing and implementing financial plans and creating long-term projections. He also found the time to provide professional guidance as a participant in the system’s Mentorship Program.

Notably, the Christus Schumpert Health System opened the region’s most comprehensive breast imaging facility under his leadership. The new center offered a range of services, including digital mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI scans, bone density tests, and biopsy procedures.

Aiman Kumha holds an MBA from Ashford University, where he graduated with highest honors. Previous to his graduate studies, he earned two undergraduate degrees, one in nuclear medicine technology, the other in physics. Today, he maintains ties to professional organizations such as the American Hospital Radiology Administrators, the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
