All this bs about being a “good person” and all that rubbish. Fuck it. If someone acts like a self obsessed object that’s how they are inviting others to treat them.
You don’t just act kindly towards everyone, or follow the three categorical imperatives blindly. That’s modern aka played.
It’s more like what Enoa Ballard said (I’m paraphrasing) “Love those close to you infinitely and hate everyone else with the same intensity"
Actually I don’t agree with that either but it’s closer to the mark.
