Exactly ten years ago, Beyoncé world domination began…

In her first solo single, the R&B-pop diva rocked number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts ten years ago today.  The pelvic thrusting anthem was a global smash, topping the top of the charts in Ireland and the U.K. The song, which contained a horn sample from The Chi-Lites’ 1970’s “Are You My Woman (Tell Me So),” earned three Grammys and made Bey an official star.  

I would say, “Who would’ve thought Bey would’ve still been here ten years later!?”  But that’s a lie, whether you are a fan or not, most of us knew Bey was here to stay.  Check out the live performance below …
