TERA MELOS

Tera Melos guitarist, Nick Reinhart, is a very busy guy. He seems to either be touring, recording or doing musical clinics but one thing for sure…if I ask Nick to appear on PedalsAndEffects, he comes through for me.  We have a huge mutual respect for each other and I think Nick is quite possibly the most innovative sound manipulating guitarist out there. His approach to his instrument is so unique, it makes me look forward to each project he does with great anticipation.

Put Nick in a Room with Ben Hinz from Dwarfcraft and you get two geniuses, colliding on some wild new pedal that creates futuristic sounds. These two dudes were made to hang out with each other and I think what Ben has come up with for Nick is insane!

Dwarfcraft has two gnarly sounding pedals called the Hax and Great Destroyer. They have been combined for this special edition Reinhart pedal by Dwarfcraft! Nick, of course, gets insane sounds in this video and makes all these noises sound musical. I can’t wait to hear what Nick puts down with this pedal.  This Reinhart pedal is for anyone who wants a glitchy, fuzzy noisey yet super musical pedal. Beware of this pedal….everything cranked all the way on the pedal is “Safe Mode!”  Turn the knobs the other way to attain wild reverse sounding, low fi distortions that get metallic and synthy.
