With the lowest unemployment rates since 2010, the Workforce1 Career Center in the Bronx has been doing its part to put people back to work.

Aaron Smith told News 12 that he was out of work for two months before he came to the career center on Fordham Road. He says Workforce1 offered him workshops and career counseling that helped him get back on his feet. He recently started a new job.

Others who use the resources at the career center say they have been out of work longer than Smith, but his story gives them hope.
