While hearing about local brewing history today, I learned that this building (the current Newco Electric Company at 301 W. 12th) used to bottle Budweiser Beer products.  I wasn't surprised at all, considering the terra cotta emblem at the top of the building, but I thought I had disproved that because the building had formerly been the E. S. Atkinson Company, and I assumed it was a family crest or seal.  After researching A-B logos, it does indeed appear to be the Anheuser Busch logo.  Does anyone have any information about this?
