I’m not a big “business book” reader, but Clayton Christensen’s books have always intrigued me.  He lays out problems in simple, digestible ways. He reinforces his beliefs with well thought through examples and case studies.  He applies his beliefs across verticals and disciplines.

I just finished “how will you measure your life” and it blew me away.  I started reading with a little trepidation as its essentially a self help book, but it really grew on me.  The scope is simple as he only attempts to answer three questions:

- how can I be happy at work?

- how can I develop deep personal relationships?

- how can I stay out of jail?

Not how I would have framed life’s big questions, but when you think about it everything is really there.  He doesn’t oversimplify these weighty topics but provides a great framework in which to think about these questions.
