A few Sundays ago we threw my younger sister, Sarah a geometric baby shower. She’s an interior designer major, obsessed with triangles…the baby’s nursery theme. It was so much fun to plan. I was inspired by a white geometric bowl I found at Target. I designed her invitations to look like it using a blind deboss technique. (They will be available in my shop soon!)  I was thrilled with the result, so I designed the rest of the signage to match.

We kept it simple with a few appetizers, fruits and veggies. The cake is a tradition that my family makes for anyone expecting…dress, hat + booties. My mom bakes it. I decorate it. We even glazed some triangle sugar cookies for favors.

Measuring the baby bump is a must at a baby shower. But instead of  playing games, of course we did a DIY. Sarah wanted some artwork for baby Avery’s nursery. So all the guests taped off + painted a tiny canvas with the nursery color palette. Everyone loved it! She is going to cluster them all together and display them above the crib. Even my nieces London and Addie made one!

I can’t wait to meet my new niece…she was definitely spoiled with tons shoes + clothes!
