The battle lines have been drawn and soon the battle will commence with three of the major players releasing new handsets. Apple has recently launched its new iPhone 4S which has sold phenomenally well, but as expected new bugs have also been introduced. Microsoft has already released Windows phone 7.5 Mango, but has made little impact with HTC's handsets. Now Nokia are to release its new handsets, with the Lumia 800 being described as the first real Windows phone hoping to revive its fortunes. Samsung are to launch Google's new flagship handset, Nexus Prime running the new Android OS 4.0, ice cream sandwich. 

All three handsets have generally disappointed specs wise but this allows the new OS to shine.
