Anonymous asked: Regarding the posters, the main issue I have is the lack of female representation. I mean, in the star squad there were at least 4-5 females, even if there might've been more male soldiers overall. I hate that women are being underrepresented again, and in a franchise where the protagonist is female. I feel like even if they were to release posters for the other female characters (highly doubt), they would be seen as inferior/trivial since they weren't included with the first batch
Anon, you’re my new best friend.
This is one of my main issues I always had with this franchise, despite being female-led, it still comes across as male-dominated, which is a misrepresentation of the actual books.
