Got two issues of Blammo from Noah Van Sciver in the mail today. Included was this little sketch (self portrait?) on the back of a business reply envelope. I can’t wait to get home and start in on these, and I especially enjoy the Ren & Stimpy ties.

I got a nice little package today from Jerks In Space. It’s three mini-comix and was only $4 including shipping. AND, drawn on the envelope, was this totally sweet robot. I haven’t started reading them yet, but I’ve heard very good things.

My favorite part of ordering comics is when there’s a little sketch or a doodle included. Take this for example. I ordered a few Bobby.N mini comics, and this little guy was included in the envelope. You should go look at his stuff, I bet you dig it.
Noah Van Sciver is back with an all-new graphic novel—Saint Cole—and we’ve got an 8-page downloadable excerpt for you to read today! By page 2 we are treated to an immediate foreshadowing of the storyline, followed by an introduction of the main character, Joe—a 28-year-old pizza server trying desperately to make ends meet to support his girlfriend and their unplanned infant child.
Saint Cole will be out in February, and we’ll have more previews coming at you in the meantime. And, as always, you can pre-order the book ahead of its release date.
