Giroud has come under criticism lately for admitting to not being as good of a player as Luis Suarez is.
However this week, from a fantasy perspective, Giroud proved to be just as good as Luis Suarez. He was even as good as Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Jay Rodriguez, Christian Benteke, and Eden Hazard!
But maybe good isn’t the right word to use. All seven of these players played a full 90 but only managed a meager two fantasy points each. So we head to the tie-breaker system to decide this week’s Unfantasy Player of the Week.

My prediction for this gameweek was Rooney. However, he has lost on a tie-breaker to Giroud. Giroud has also overcome last week’s title winner Christian Benteke on a tie-breaker. Thus Olivier Giroud wins the title of this week’s Unfantasy POTW.
