Photos of street art spotted in Los Angeles, especially in Downtown's Arts District in areas I tend to haunt such as Silver Lake, East Hollywood, the Culver City arts district and beyond. I also repost cool street art and similar work (I define street art VERY broadly) wherever I may see it on Tumblr.

“The show was meant to display the current street art scene that’s taking place across New York and the surrounding areas. Although not all artists were born in that region, all of them have left their stamp on the East Coast street art scene one way or another and this exhibit was meant to show this in the best light possible. Although it can be difficult to feature a wide group of artists during one exhibit, the surrounding theme held the show in place. A great majority of the art focused on the New York experience but it also helped illuminate personal stories that touched more on the topic of family, friendships, and politics. Overall, the show featured a great collection of artists and various styles, so for anyone looking for a peek into the current street art movement happening in the East Coast, make sure you stop by before it closes on September 4th.” - ArrestedMotion.com
