Draymond beating up Busteley.

Some photos from the 2nd half of the Warriors versus the Wizards at Las Vegas Summer League. In the end, the Warriors edged out the Wizards 56 - 52. Kent Bazemore lead all scorer’s with 21 pts on 7-14 shooting, 2 Stls, 5 Rebs, 1-6 from the 3 pt line. Bazemore definitely asserted himself more in the second half of the game and as oppose to the first half. He seemed tentative in the first have and kept deferring but in the second half any deferment ceased. He asked for the ball and kept it and looked to get his own shot as opposed to probing and then just swinging the ball and staying out on the wing.

Overall, Bazemore probably feels the pressure a bit being a 2nd year guy on the Summer League team and also feels the pressure to try and lockup the back PG spot for the upcoming year. I don’t think that Scott Machado will putting to much pressure on Bazemore if he continues to play like he did in today’s game.

So the backup PG time is up for grabs and it will just be a matter of whether or not Bazemore can seize the opportunity & position by showing out at Summer League.
