James Vincent McMorrow Played the Paradise Rock Club - Photos / Videos / Setlist / Review 4.4.2014

Earlier this year, Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow released his second album, Post Tropical, and last night he played a sold out show at the Paradise Rock Club.

However, the Boston show yesterday was missing one key component, McMorrow’s drummer, who flew back to Ireland to attend his uncle’s funeral.  This happened the day of the show, which didn’t give the rest of the band much time to figure out alternate versions of the songs.  The solution consisted of McMorrow occasionally playing drums and a crew member also filling in, making it a special an unique show.

Photos, setlist, and two videos - “Gold” and “Cavalier” can be seen below.  Additional tour dates here.  Aidan Knight (Canada) opened.
