Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) First U.S. Tour in 35 Years, Playing Wang Theatre

Yusuf (formerly known as Cat Stevens) has announced his first U.S. tour dates in over 35 years, as part of the “Peace Train…Late Again Tour”.  He last toured the United States in 1976 before converting to Islam and adopting the name Yusuf Islam.  He was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and will release a new studio album, Tell ‘Em I’m Gone, October 27th. 

Locally, he will play the Wang Theatre in Boston December 7th, and tickets go on sale to the public September 27 at 10 a.m.
