The incidence of acoustic neuroma is slightly less than 1 in 50,000, or .00002, or .002%. I think. I’m not great at math, actually.

Anyway, it occurs at about the same rate of ALS or of someone else being able to crack the Touch ID on your iPhone with their fingerprint.
