In some ways I think Moby is slightly underrated in the sense that people know he’s good but don’t really voice it too much because it feels like he’s always been there. 18 and Play are two of my favourite albums and his mastery of his craft has few contemporaries.
“Extreme Ways” has become synonymous with the Bourne films (the way they always come at the end is so perfect) and for the latest in the franchise, starring Jeremy Renner this time, Moby has gone back to “Extreme Ways” and recorded a new version this time with a live 110 piece orchestra and it just sounds fantastic with a depth and gravitas that the previous versions didn’t lack per se, but have been enhanced in this version.
