Like everyone else, I had the Arctic Monkey’s first two albums, playing them constantly, falling in love with “Mardy Bum” and thinking “Fluorescent Adolescent” spoke to me exclusively… and then I moved onto other things. The other day I was listening to the radio and their new one “Why’d You Always Call Me When You’re High?” came on and I liked it. Alex Turner has a unique knack for delivery, and the stuttering soulful groove suits the Sheffield band well.
