What do you need to maintain your shoes.

A set of brushes (from left to right on the first picture)

A silicon brush for suede leather.
Two little brushes to apply the cream. One for dark colors and one for brown shades.
A little brush to clean the dust on shoes.
Two brushes to polish. One for dark colors and one for brown shades.
One big horsehair brush for shinning the shoes.

A set of care and polishing products (second picture)

Universal cream polish from Saphir. For me one of the best care product it’s not necessary to use too much of this once every two or three polishing session.
A large selection of creme surfine pommadier from Saphir at least four different brown colors to play on the natural patina of brown shoes, some black and navy for black shoes and some other exotic colors like red or green depending on your needs. An colorless cream for the sole of shoes.

Again as many brown shades as you can this product is made to have a shining at the end of the treatment. I use it with a little bit of water I apply with a cotton cloth as a slow and patient massage up to having the perfect shining.
Some navy and black are also necessary for black shoes.
I also use this Pate for the edge of the sole I apply it with the little brush and then I rub with a cotton cloth.

A little box to store all the precious products.

And finally a big box to store all the products.

If you don’t want to spend too much money a big wine box is perfect a little leather carpet is also very convenient to put the shoes on when you are polishing them.

Have fun polishing your shoes it is probably one of the most relaxing activity and with a bit of practice and patience you will be very proud of the result.
