Source: Swervedriver i think widely known best int he “shoegaze” category have been around for many years.  in case any of you aren’t familiar with the term shoegazer its really is a british version of stoner rock.  smoke some weed and listen to My Bloody Valentine, Spiritualized or Swervedriver and it will all come together and you will understand.  Wikipedia says shoegaze is all about foot pedals, and maybe that is why is got that name cause you are always looking at your feet and the pedals you are pushing.  Funny, cause i always thought it got that name for people who were so stoned and just stared at the floor.
