With over 20 years of financial service experience, processing mutual fund investments and management services, Todd Heinzl currently holds the title, Managing Director of the financial advising enterprise, The Governance Box (GBX). An advisor to several private merchant banks, Mr. Heinzl specializes in assisting publicly listed micro-, nano-, and small-cap companies reach their financial aspirations. His technique employs personalized governance strategies for each client company with the intention of facilitating financial growth to enable a valuable market up-listing. In his management position with GBX, Todd Heinzl assists clients from various industries to enhance their stock listings from Pink Sheets and Over the Counter Bulletin Board listings to a much higher-level exchange including those from AMEX, NYSE, and NASDAQ.

Over the years, Todd Heinzl has served in numerous executive positions with a variety of institutions including his time as Vice President of the Centerfire Growth Fund, Vice President of a boutique Canadian bank, Pension Marketing Manager of Altamira Investment Management, and Partner of the investor relation company, Sutton Javelin Communications. Under complex disclosure and regulatory requirements, Mr. Heinzl established proper corporate governance and policy provisions and oversaw several branches of the mutual fund institutions, including leading communications and market strategy procedures. During his time with Sutton Javelin, Todd Heinzl advised more than 25 growth companies to achieve market listings among NASDAQ, NYSE, TSX, and AMEX. Also at Sutton Javelin, he played an integral part in the launch of the company’s DisclosurePlus platform, which enables shareholders and clients to communicate wirelessly with the firm, regardless of their language.

Today, Todd Heinzl holds several professional memberships and affiliations, including his membership with the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Royal Canadian Military Institute, among others. An alumnus of the University of Waterloo, Mr. Heinzl earned his CIM designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and has been distinguished as a Fellow of the institution.
