DESIGN: Optical Illusions by Akiyoshi Kitaoka
Akiyoshi Kitaoka, a professor of psychology at the Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan, specializes in visual illusion, visual completion, motion perception and stereopsis.
Sound complicated? To put it in layman’s terms, Kitaoka is interested in how your brain interprets signals it receives from your eyes.
