Life’s a beach, or sounds like it at least
Are you lost without your iPod? Do you pound the streets with your head down, music blaring, and snatch every second of your commute to tune in to a podcast? Then you might want to unplug for a second, and pay attention to your surroundings. After all, you may be surprised to discover what you’re missing, not least if you happen to find yourself on London’s Euston Road.
Over the next few weeks, the Wellcome Collection, situated on one of London’s busiest through roads, will be broadcasting live the sounds of Chesil Beach, on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, through a set of strategically placed speakers outside the building.
