In this presentation, David Armano calls for the creation of social business planning (entailing new organizational and staffing models) to address the demands of the changing consumer landscape. This is an important step as too often social activity is siloed within marketing (which is brilliantly equipped to create advertising campaigns but does not have the reach within the organization to create far-reaching social campaigns).
