Keep Your Eyes Peeled

I think the unsung hero of vogue said it best, when she stated in the September Issue documentary that she never closes her eyes, she never goes to sleep in the car while driving through Paris, she just KEEPS WATCHING because whatever you see out the window can inspire you.

And that’s exactly what I did, every minute that passed me by, I KEPT MY EYES PEELED and got inspired by everything that surrounded me. Although on this particular day upon my venture through the cobble stoned streets of Paris navigating to my favorite Comme des Garçon spots, I discovered a vast amount of beautiful and inspiring street art from a number of Parisian artist including one of my faves right now: Invader, A pioneer of the new generation of street artist who’s famous for his square mosaic tile installations inspired by the 1978 arcade game - Space Invaders.

I was spotting his amazing artwork in the most uncommon places, one after another, after another. It started to feel like a treasure hunt, this might sound weird and all, but it was like I was meant to see them that way, in that particular order and conveniently they were all located in the paths to my favorite places to shop in Paris.

It was pretty dope how a lot of the buildings had nature blooming out of them, just goes to show how old these buildings really are.

You ever buy something cool and forget about it because you misplaced it in your closet? This awesome hunting shirt by Creep is a prime example of that. Bought this shirt over a year ago and only now is it seeing daylight, hate when that happens!!!

This blue guy was actually right next to my hotel, the last art piece I saw for the day from Invader.

Majority of the street decals were posted high up on apartments and buildings.

Really like this one! Who’s the artist though?
