Thanks to everyone who made the first B Corporation Pitch Competition at Pepperdine University possible, especially our presenter B Revolution Capital !

On February 15, ten ventures pitched for a $1,000 cash prize, more than $10,000 in consulting services, and a spot to pitch for $20,000 at Crowd Impact, a social enterprise Pitch Competition hosted by B Revolution Capital and Crowdfunder.

Congrats to the winners:
1. First Place: Picture Healing
2. Second Place: Stone + Cloth
3. Third Place: Open Door

Judges included Marty Metro, Founder and CEO of UsedCardboardBoxes.com; Howard Leonhardt, Chairman & CEO of The California Stock Exchange & Leonhardt Ventures; and Stephen Meade, Founder of BigBamboo LLC. After an initial applicant period, B Revolution selected finalists to pitch in front of these judges. The company also hosted workshops on B Corporations. Prizes included funding and free consultation services provided by B Revolution.
