I'm definitely a nerd and obviously quite proud to be one. I've got a flair for the dramatic and am heavily involved in all of the dramatic arts, whether it be dance, music or acting, and I'm currently in the process of trying my hand at writing. I constantly have ideas for plays floating around in my head and I'd like the world to see them as i see them. my major fandoms are harry potter, disney (see other blog making-magical-moments), merlin, dr. who, musical theatre, movies of any sort really, sherlock, big bang theory and how i met your mother. my ask is always open and i love meeting new people so feel free to ask away. PBS documentary film director and producer Ken Burns turns 61 today! His acclaimed documentaries showcase archival footage and photographs, and offer an unflinching perspective on the most important moments in American history. Ken’s films have earned twelve Emmy Awards and two Oscar nominations, and in 2008, at the News & Documentary Emmy Awards, Ken was honored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
