From the late 70's Ethnoarte Gallery (founded by Mr. Gianfranco Rossi) has dealt in Southeast Asian art, Indian and Buddhist sculpture, ethnic jewellery and ritual art. The Gallery has become one of the most specialized places in Italy and very well-known worldwide among collectors, thanks to the refined selection of pieces and considerable exhibitions on ancient Asian culture and ethnography.
Khampa Tibetan girl from Litang at the Litang Horse festival, dressed head to toe in extremely ornate traditional jewelry and amulets which are specific to the Litang region. These costumes are so heavy and require hours to put on, so they are only worn once or twice a year.
