The cynic believes the president has been nowhere near ruthless enough. The cynic doesn’t believe that the president truly has come anywhere close to surveying the actual wreckage or counting the real cost. The cynic doesn’t believe that he has held up a true mirror to the country and demanded that it look at itself. There are still not enough people in handcuffs yet.
Well, this piece is intense. Bit of a gut-punch.
