A german word which is not precisely translated with "wanderlust".

It's not all about wandering, it's more an ambivalent feeling. On the one hand it's kind of melancholy, because your heart wants to set sail and move on, to another place or away from a person or situation. On the other hand it's this tingling feeling if you know that adventure awaits you and there is so much to explore right around the next bend of your path.

"Heimweh" describes the opposite. If you are out there in the wild and your heart seeks the place or person where it feels at home.
