This is a behind-the-scenes video I edited together (from literally hours of misc footage) for a look at the scoring/recording of music for Guild Wars 2 second season of Living World content.
Shot over the course of several days, our composer (Maclaine Diemer) got the treat of a lifetime as his work was performed and recorded by a full live orchestra. This feature focuses on two of the pieces in particular from the sessions, while being narrated via the interview with Maclaine himself.
Fun Fact: This project was in danger of being cancelled due to time management and assets showing up extremely late. As a result, this video was put together from around 8 hours of misc, unstructured footage in less than a day. I’m particularly proud of what I was able to put together.
