The Hall of Glory.
Carved into the marble walls are over 12,000 names of people awarded Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of Socialist Labour during World War 2.
A hidden door in one of the pillars opened to reveal the lift which takes visitors up to the viewing platform of the enormous Mother Motherland monument which stands on top of this hall.
