Cod, cod, cod. Wonderful, wonderful cod. I had just purchased a new cast-iron skillet and was looking for something to use it with, and this was it.
Simple Pan-Fried Cod
Ingredients
- Cod
- Lemon (to taste)
- Butter (as much as you are comfortable with)
- Salt and pepper (coarse, to taste)
Assembly
Pre-heat the oven to 400*F. Season the cod with salt and pepper as the pan is heating up. Put a little butter in the pan and then the fish. Cook for roughly 5-7 minutes on one side, squeeze some lemon and flip to the other side. Add some additional butter and place in the oven to cook for another 5-7 minutes. Serve!
Simple, tasty, and easy! Just pick some sides and go! (we chose asparagus and cauliflower, and they went very well)
